Free Tax Preparation Assistance
Tax preparation assistance is available at no charge to eligible individuals and families. Eligibility requirements include age and/or income. Please check with the assistance provider.

  • Downers Grove Park District is working with the AARP to offer free tax assistance. Appointment scheduling begins January 8, 2024 on a first-come, first-served basis. Tax appointments will be at Lincoln Center in room 503 on Tuesdays and Thursdays February 6 - April 11 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Detailed information, including documents needed, can be found here.

  • The College of DuPage Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Free Tax Preparation program will begin preparing tax returns at the COD main-campus in Glen Ellyn (425 Fawell Boulevard), on the third floor of the Student Resource Center, Room 3000, on Saturday, February 10.  Detailed information, including documents needed and how to register, can be found by clicking here.
