Find the perfect book! DGPL has three methods book clubs can use to get the books they need.

For best results, please provide at least two weeks advance notice (three preferred). A minimum of seven business days is required for delivery and processing of materials.

Pickup methods
Coordinator Bags
Coordinators of clubs can choose to pick up all copies for their club members in one set. Copies will be gathered and made available, packed together in a tote for transport. Need a quick turnaround? Check out our Book Club Bags below!
Individual Copies
Clubs also have the option to register their individual members’ information, allowing for a copy to be assigned and made available to each member for pickup at their own convenience from DGPL. Each member will need an active library card registered with SWAN.

- Author information
For additional convenience and expedited delivery, nearly 100 ready-to-go Book Club Bags are available for checkout. Find titles organized by Fiction and Nonfiction below. Titles that were added within the last year are indicated by an asterisk (*).
Book Club Bags are available for checkout to any patron with a card registered in the SWAN system (reservations are restricted to Downers Grove book clubs).
