How It Works:

  • Track your reading
  • Turn in your folder to get a prize
    • Read to me: 10 books = 1 prize
    • Readers: 6 books OR 6 hours = 1 prize
  • Continue reading for bonus pages.
    More bonus pages = more prizes!

Prizes include: ice cream from Every Day's a Sundae, books, and more! 

TEENS

Any teen from Downers Grove or a Downers Grove school can participate. 

How It Works:

  • Turn in your form to get a prize
    • 3 books OR 6 hours = 1 prize
  • Continue reading for additional prizes (up to 3)
  • Read even more to earn entries for raffle prizes!

Prizes: bookmarks, sticker packs, screen cleaners, playing cards, raffle entries

Raffle prizes include: campfire mug bundle; camping hammock; fitness tracker; cornhole set; puzzles and games; and gift cards to local restaurants, Amazon, and Target!

ADULTS

Adults must be a DGPL Cardholder to participate.

Win a Downtown Dollars spending spree! 

Local downtown Downers Grove businesses have partnered with the library for a Summer Reading scavenger hunt! S'mores ingredients can be found in the windows of downtown businesses. Find everything you need to make a s'more and fill out the scavenger hunt form to enter the raffle. 

Raffle Prizes:

  • Kids: a book bundle and $10 Downtown Dollars gift certificate! (5 available)
  • Adults and Teens: $50 Downtown Dollars gift certificate (3 available) 

Pickup and submit forms at the Kids Room desk or the Ask Us desk. Forms due by August 7. Winners will be contacted the week of August 15.
