Tell us what you're looking for in a library! The Downers Grove Public Library is currently developing a new strategic plan which will guide our future work.
Community is the heart of the library, and we hope you will join us as we prepare for our next chapter. Everything we do at DGPL is for the betterment of our community; to make a plan that reflects and is responsive to Downers Grove residents’ interests and needs, we are asking for your help! Share your thoughts about how you'd like to continue to discover, grow, play, and learn at the Downers Grove Public Library by joining in the conversation.
Community SURVEY
The library is working with consulting group ReThinking Libraries to help us gather information about what the community wants in a library. They will gather all feedback and present the information to the library. Your responses are completely anonymous. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
Focus Groups
Focus groups will be held in late April, early May for community members to have a more detailed conversation about the library. This page will be updated with more details as the focus groups are planned!
The following populations will be invited to participate in our focus groups:
- Parents and caregivers
- Seniors
- Community partners: organizations, local leaders, businesses
- General adults
