Library Visit Request

Material Requests

Educators teaching or living in Downers Grove Public Library's service area can request materials for classroom use.

Materials Request

School Library Cards

The Downers Grove Public Library is a part of the SWAN consortium, which gives users access to more than 90 libraries in the area. Use a personal library card or a school card to check out materials. The school librarian will have more information on school cards, or you can email DGPL for more information.

Assignment Help

Books related to a specific assignment can be put on the homework shelf, so students know exactly where to go! To get a customized bag (or two, or three!) of materials to use in the classroom, contact the Kids Room with a description of the lesson.
