Building

The library building has two floors and is accessible. The Curtiss St. entrance is fully accessible, and the Forest Ave. entrance has an accessible ramp that connects to the sidewalk. DGPL provides the following facility features to serve patrons during their visit:

  • Public computers, printers, fax machine (sending only), and scanners
  • Café featuring snack and beverage vending options
  • Quiet Study Room
  • All-gender, single-stall family bathrooms in the Kids Room
  • Rolling carts to hold materials (in-library use only)
  • Holds Lockers at the South entrance for 24/7 access to materials 
  • Items you may have forgotten for checkout:
    • Bike locks
    • Tote bags
    • Umbrellas
Accessibility features at the library

Public Parking

Public parking is located at the library's north entrance, in the Village's Forest South lot. The Forest North lot provides free parking after 11 a.m. Street parking and a parking garage (Curtiss St. and Mochel Dr.) are also available. Patrons who need an accessible entrance should park near the Curtiss St. or Forest Ave. entrances.
