New Apps Make Digital Downloading Easier
If you download digital magazines, eBooks, or eAudiobooks to your devices, you’re probably familiar with the library’s free access to Zinio and eMediaLibrary apps. While the content within those programs remains the same, new apps have been launched for ease of use.
Beginning July 1, visit your iOS, Android, or Windows app store to download the new apps: Libby and RBdigital.
Libby is the new recommended app for OverDrive eMediaLibrary users. It's easy to use and gets you reading eBooks and listening to eAudiobooks quickly. Items can be checked out for up to three weeks.
RBdigital is the new recommended app for Zinio users. The same eMagazines as before are available free for your devices (including US Weekly, Rolling Stone, The Economist, and Good Housekeeping).
Use your DGPL cardnumber to log in after downloading the new apps. For more information, visit www.dglibrary.org/eLibrary or contact the Ask Us Desk at (630) 960–1200. We're happy to help you get started!
